Bijapur
The foundations of this historic city
were laid during the reign of the Chalukyan dynasty of Kalyani between the
tenth and eleventh centuries. They called it Vijayapura or the "City of
Victory" from which comes its present name Bijapur. More... Golgumbaz
Golgumbaz built by Mohammad Adilshahi in 1656. It is the world's second largest dome. its builtup area is 42000 sq.ft. Its height is 200 ft. The special technology was used in the construction. It echoes 9 times of a single clap. It situated at North East part of Karnataka.

Climate
The climate of Bijapur is temperate
